This was my direct response to looking at Shitagis work, I wanted to use his use of shallow depth of field. I like the light on the back feet and how its caught up the right side of the shoe. I like his use of grainy black and white images.
I like this picture but I wanted to try some other pictures exploring ballet.
In this photograph I was exploring shapes and using just one foot. The straight line down the middle I like because it is a feature in the middle of the photograph. I chose to use this model because her shoes so more age than the others. They show blackness round the edge of them.
This photograph wasn't posed for like the other photos, this was a shot taken in the models walking up. I wanted to carry work that was more casual. I like how the shallow depth of field which is caught in the front shoe. I also like how the shapes bombard you from the front to the back. The shoe at the front shows exactly the strain on the foot than it actually bends the wrong way.
